Streator Bible

The Holy Bible Containing the Old and New Testament,
New York, American Bible Society, 1846.

This is a strange Bible, in my opinion. The Bible was
rebound missing everything after Luke 9:35. It is a no-
nonsense library binding. The family record is in really
rough shape, and was removed at one point -- in the new
binding the pages are out of order. The edges were
scotch taped to reinforce them. The family pages are in
MUCH worse condition than other pages. After saying
all that, there are only four entries in the family record.
Where did all that wear come from?

There are three obituaries, all of Sarah Eliza, who must not
have married.
