History:
Andrew Jackson ("AJ") Fletcher (9/18/1842-12/30/81) was first married on September 11, 1863 to Nancy Annie Payne Hooker. Issue: Andrew Peyton "Major" Fletcher (1866-1907).

When widowed, AJ married Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" Brooks on 12/17/1873. Issue: Kingston (1874-1875), Mattie Daisy (1875-1925), Maggie Coralline (1877-1950), Patrick Earl (1878-1910) & Andrew J. (1880-1943). Daisy married Shelton Hinson (1871-1952) in 1893. Their children were Mary Ardenne (1894-1979), Henry Riner (1895-1968), Margaret Fleda (1897-1987), James Fletcher (1899-1907) and Arlene (1896-1992).

Mary Elizabeth ("Mollie") Brooks Fletcher (3/6/1851-9/1/1920), daughter of James Monroe Brooks (1818 NC-1886 TN) and Mary Ann Kingston (1824 England-1901 TN) was born in Eads, Shelby County, TN, 20 miles east of Memphis on a plantation. Siblings were; Martha ("Mattie") A. (1847-1940), Julia (1849-1852), Margarite ("Maggie") L. (1849-1895), James ("Jimmy") M. (1850-1910) & Victoria ("Vickie") Frances (1858-1938).
