Transcribed for the Lanark County Genealogical Society website
by Charles Dobie.

This Bible is in the Perth Museum archives. It is a large-
format Bible, leather bound, with a large brass clasp. The cover is
loose, but the pages are in good condition. The Bible was published in
Great Britain, but there is no publishing date.

The genealogical information is written on two of eight
elaborately engraved pages provided between the Old and New
Testaments. In addition, a typed sheet of paper inserted at the
beginning of the Bible has also been transcribed.
