Robert Brown and Sally Thompson were married December 26, 1801.
In the 25th year of his age and the 19th of hers.
Children:
Betsy S. Brown, born November 2, 1803 (Elizabeth did not marry).
Jane Brown, born July 4, 1806, married William Pettypool.
James Brown, born February 1, 1808, did not marry.
John T. Brown, born July 21, 1809, married Eliza Dean.
William Sweptson Brown, born March 1, 1812, married Miss Bruce.
Sarah Ann Brown, born March 29, 1813, married Mr. Padgett.
Dorothy Brown, born February 24, 1816, married Mr. Nelson.
Isabella Brown, born February 24, 1818, did not marry.
Mary Catherine Brown, born May 14, 1820. married William B. Elliott first,
and Henry Thornton Lampton, second.
Richard G. Brown, born December 25, 1822, did not marry.
Martha Brown, born September 1, 1826, married Dr. Hill.
Robert Brown departed this life October 11, 1840, aged 64 years and nine months.
